how much weight could a bicycle pull?

Hh

how much weight do you think a fit person could pull on a bicycle.

for example, say you have a trailer for people to sit in, how many people do you think the cyclist could pull (safely)?

Answer
Ol' hip and wle have the same answer! LOL Just kidding.

Theoretically . If on level ground and speed being of no concern with the proper gearing large weights could be pulled.

Practically. 1 to 2 people. It's done every day.

Help with a child bike trailer?

Wondering?

I need a tall bike trailer for a 5 year old. I would also like a wide one for comfort for two kids. I am researching Schwinn, Burley, and Instep (I can't afford the expensive brands). Does anyone own one of these brands and uses it for bigger kids (ages 3 and 5, they are smaller girls). Which one should I get?
Does anyone actually own and use one of the trailers I listed? If so, do you use it with older children. I have been looking locally for both used and new, but no luck in finding these brands....only the very expensive models. I am going to purchase one online, and do not want to have to return it because it is too small.

Answer
Why not simply take the kids with you to the BICYCLE SHOP?

Burley is one of the better (and probably most expensive) brands.
