I get an allowance of $4.50 a week but no money for chores. I would like to have earned $200 by the end of spring 2013.

Answer
1) Sell your used video games, old cell phones, cameras, etc on Craigs List. These items are hot sellers

2) Offer your neighbors, family members, etc to do some holiday baking, shopping, or wrapping presents. Everyone is busy this time of year and is willing to pay for a little help

3) If youâre good at programming, make a quick mobile shopping app on popular presents, prices, and where to buy

4) Shovel, shovel, shovel!

5) Party planning or decorating Offer to have a kids cookie baking & decorating party. Parents can get some shopping done and know that their kids are having fun. Charge $15-$20 per kid. If you have a group of 6, thatâs $120!!So hereâs 7 top paying Jobs for 13 year olds:

6) Tutor: Are you good at math? Science? Or any subject for that matter? Parents are willing to pay $15 dollars an hour or more to tutor their kids.

7) Newspaper guy/gal: You can make as much as $1,000 a month delivering local newspapers. You can walk, bike, or have your mom drive you. But the downfall is you have to get up at 5 am.

3) Window Washer: Most people hate washing windows. You can easily make $100 per house washing windows. And all you need is a bucket, sponge/squeeze-e, and a little vinegar to make them sparkle and shine!

8) Odd painting jobs: Look for houses with white picket fences that need a paint job and knock on the door. Make sure youâre with a parent or friend thoughâ¦and not alone.

9) Brush clearing: My mother-in-law pays my son $20 bucks an hour to clear brush every spring and fall.

10) Bookkeeper: This is not only a great way to earn extra money, but an invaluable and useful skill to learn. Plus, it pays well! Talk to local small businesses.

11) Clean Out the Attic or Basement

12) Babysit

13) Yard-work

14) Car Wash

15) Set up a lemonade stand

16) Sell homemade items
17) Walk dogs

18)Mow lawns

How to get my cat certified to be a therapy cat?

Hanna

I have a 12 week old kitten that I think would be the perfect therapy cat. I'd like to know exactly how to get him certified when he gets older and what to do to get him ready. I've been working on getting him to jump on beds and chairs on command. I've also taken him on MANY car rides, bike rides, I'm trying to get him used to dogs, he's been around little kids, many other cats, been brought to many different houses and met tons of different people, he's been brought to the nursing home where my grandma is many times, he's also used to cats hissing and growling at him, he doesn't even react. He likes being pet everywhere, paws, tummy, everything. He's SUPER tolerant. I mess with him while he's eating, while he's playing, sleeping, etc. He lets me pull on his paws and tail no problem. He LOVES attention and will just jump in your lap and cuddle. I honestly think he'd be perfect for a therapy kitty. Just don't know where to start! Any bit of info helps! Thanks!(:

Answer
The three most important things you didn't mention:

1. The cat has to have a bath before every therapy visit. So get the cat used to having a bath, being dried, and brushed.

2. The cat has to have it's nailed trimmed before each visit so get the cat used to having nails trimmed and trim them with the correct equipment.

3. It would be helpful if you trained your cat to walk on a lead. Use the correct equipment as shown in the video. This can be a long process so be patient.

If you are training your cat to jump on things, why don't you clicker train your cat?

As for the therapy certification, there are links in the two articles where you apply for that:
