best kids bikes 16 image

Anyone know a good option for a roof mount bike rack that fits very small kids bikes (16" wheels)? Upright mount preferred since bike doesn't have quick release wheel.
Our SUV isn't compatible with trunk mount racks and I am pulling a tent trailer so can't use hitch mount racks.
So far I haven't found any options that would seem to fit very small bikes.

Most roof racks are geared towards 20" and larger wheels. You might want to look into a rack that mounts on the tailgate similar to a "trunk mount" type.
There are also some that allow for the use of both a hitch-mounted rack and a trailer.

My son has had a hard time pedaling his 16" kids bike. I even tried it out and struggled. Put air in the tires and its not the brakes. I'm at a loss what good is a brand new bike that doesn't work right? Can this problem be fixed?
We bought it new over year ago.

Is it new? Then that's normal. Just tell him to take it for a ride now and then.
